Billy has over 10 years electrical trade experience specialising in solar work. He is a CEC - accredited Solar PV Design & Install as well as Solar Battery Design & Install. Billy has a vast product knowledge and the experience to assist in compiling a power plan to best suit your solar needs.

FEDERAL REBATES
We’re fully accredited to install solar and battery systems under the Federal Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program and the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (STCs).

Whether you already have solar or you’re starting fresh, rebates are available to help reduce your upfront investment.

Cheaper Home Batteries Program (from 1 May 2026)
Home battery rebates are calculated using Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which provide an upfront discount on eligible systems.

Most customers currently receive around 30% off eligible battery systems (based on usable capacity).

The rebate amount is adjusted every 6 months as battery prices continue to come down.

From 1 May 2026, the STC factor reduces and the rebate tapers for larger batteries:

0–14kWh: Full rebate applied

14–28kWh: Reduced rebate applied

28–50kWh: Further reduced rebate applied

While the rebate gradually reduces over time, there are still strong savings available for households investing in battery storage.

Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (STCs)
This Federal program provides certificates for eligible solar and battery installations that reduce your upfront system cost.
The number of certificates available decreases over time as part of Australia’s long-term renewable energy plan.
